Fonting
I started messing around with fonts a while ago and have made a few. check em.
This one is called KOOBZ. It's a blocky geometric font I used to draw all the time and decided to make it an actual typeface. It's hard to read but I'm happy I did it. This one is called Captain. I named it that because it was originally supposed to only be in CAPS. Caps, CAPtain... get it? You could also say there's a James T. Kirk reference in there too. I made this because I wanted a caps font where each letter had the same height and width. Then I got crazy and made the rest. The lowercase inst the best. It's kind of like a mutated Century Gothic.
This one is called "Quickrite". I've always wanted a font that was my handwriting. There's a ton of "hand" fonts out there but this one is mine!
this one is called BOWELLBERALTA. its a copy of the classic 80's skateboard company Powell Peralta logo.
If you want to download any of these they are available at www.dafont.com for free. More coming soon!

Blueberry Wheels Have Arrived
A few months back I was asked to create a graphic and logo for a skateboard wheel company. Since the company is called Blueberry the owner suggested using some imagery from the classic Hostess Fruit Pies. Here's the final result.
Here's the final artwork | Printing job could have been better but I have no control over that. |
Packaging came out great. |
I also did this tshirt image for them.

Skateboard Graphics by Kirk
About a year ago I started an internet based skateboard company called Gallery Skateboards. My main goal was to have a place to showcase all of the design ideas I would come up with on a daily basis. I soon found out that running a business is hard work. I'm maintaining the site still and all of the boards are still for sale. If you see something you like I can rework the art to fit whatever company or idea you have.

better view source; firefox
Often I’ll be looking at my site after it’s been uploaded and notice that I need to make a quick HTML edit and I dont have Dreamweaver handy. When I view source, Firefox opens an HTML viewer where you cant edit the HTML you’re looking at. You’ve got to copy, open your editor and paste it. Kind of tedious.
Well, today I figured out a little about:config tweak that lets you tell Firefox what to do when you right click and “view source”. Just change view_source.editor.external to “true” and set the string for view_source.editor.path to point to the editor you prefer. For simplicity, I have mine set to open notepad++.
Be careful editing the about:config stuff, it can really mess up some basic functions of Firefox if you’re not paying attention.
